In April 2025, I had the opportunity to document the start of construction on THOR, Denmark’s largest offshore wind farm, off the coast of Thorsminde. Traveling from Thyborøn on a crew transfer vessel (CTV), I spent two days capturing the installation of the first monopile foundation.

Two drone shots offer different perspectives: a top-down view of the massive steel monopile as it is lowered into the seabed, and a front view showing the monopile standing vertically above the water.

I am also documenting the remaining construction phases of the wind farm for the agency WILDYARD.
